Xolisa which means 'forgiveness' lives with his mum, sister and baby brother.

His mother has a disability and so the family struggle with very little income.

Xolisa loves Sisonke School, he said he feels free here. His sister also attends the pre-school here.

Xolisa is very talented with his hands. He makes his own toy cars from scrap metal and miniature rondavels (round houses) from discarded wood and clay he digs up out of the ground.

He is a very caring, considerate boy and he does a lot at home to help his mum who finds difficult.

Xolisa also loves animals and he hopes to be strong enough to become a soldier one day
